“Closed Russia” is dedicated to the numerous classified “zones” of the Russian Federation. The project is divided into several parts, the first part being a historical one. It shows the abandoned borders of the former Soviet empire and the ruins of military facilities, which are protected by the state up to the present day and where entry is officially prohibited. However, marauders and stalkers have passed back and forth, evidence of which are to be found in various blogs on the internet.
The second part is about Institute for theoretical and experimental physics, the third represents producing and reproducing of nuclear fuel in Russia.
